Injectable Dermal Fillers

Fillers are products which are implanted into different layers of the skin to plump it out and get rid of wrinkles or improve contours. Restylane®, Juvéderm® ULTRA, Radiesse® and SubQ® are the fillers we commonly use at Reforme Medical.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers Wrinkles can occur due to the loss of a sugar called hyaluronic acid from your skin, this occurs as a part of natural skin aging. Restylane® and Juvéderm® ULTRA contain hyaluronic acid; when injected into the skin they replace the depleted hyaluronic acid, and plump the skin out, thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles.Neither of these fillers need allergy testing and are safe and reliable products derived from non animal, non allergenic sources.

Both products come pre-combined with a local anaesthetic that dramatically reduces the pain associated with the injection. The wrinkles will appear reduced for at least 6 – 12 months following the injection, after that period you might need top-up injections to maintain the effect.

Radiesse® dermal filler may be used in an array of treatments ideal for correcting the signs of aging or adding natural contours to the face – without invasive surgery. Radiesse® uses advanced, calcium-based microsphere technology to deliver soft, natural-looking results you can see immediately.

Unlike other dermal fillers, it also stimulates your body to produce new collagen, so you’ll continue to look more youthful and attractive over time. In fact for many patients, the benefits of treatment with Radiesse® dermal filler may last up a year or more.

Sub Q® & Voluma®
Juvéderm™ VOLUMA™ & Restylane™ Sub Q™ are Injectable Hyaluronic acid volumisers that are used to restore the contours of your chin, cheeks and cheekbones that are lost due to aging or weight loss. The risks and side effects are similar to the other hyaluronic acid fillers (see fillers information sheet). The results can last for up to 18 months at which point you might need a small top up injection.
