Derma FNS, Dermaroller, Dermastamp, Dermapen, Medical Micro-needling, Microneedling roller, Microneedling Pen
These techniques involve using microneedles to puncture the skin very lightly under numbing cream application; this is similar to a tattoo procedure, but without the ink.
The penetration of the skin with the needles of the Microneedling device – roller, DermaFNS, DermaPen or a stamp – causes epidermal differentiation and dermal remodelling through collagen synthesis via stimulation of the fibroblast cell that makes the collagen, elastin and complex sugars and molecules that make the skin’s own internal moisturising cream.
These molecular and structural changes in the skin can cause plumping of the skin, reducing the appearance of fine wrinkles and scars (including acne scars). This very popular procedure and is used for reducing the appearance of different types of scars, wrinkles, open pores on the face; it is also used for stretch marks, and to promote hair growth on the scalp.
